The Contribution of N+ Ions to Earth’s Polar Wind

Published in Geophysics Research Letter, 2020

This letter presents the first study that addresses the role of N+ ions in the overall polar wind outflow solution, based on a first principle numerical model, which is the Seven Ion Polar Wind Outflow Model (7iPWOM), developed from the Polar Wind Outflow Model (PWOM) (Glocer et al., 2018).
